STEM Racing(Formerly F1 in Schools) STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) is an international STEM competition endorsed by Formula 1 for students aged 9–19. Groups of 3–6 students are tasked with designing and manufacturing a miniature F1 car using CAD/CAM and CAE design tools. Teams compete to get the title of world champion. NGEN Careers of the Futures Careers of the Future, is an exciting platform designed to inspire and prepare young Canadians for careers in advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies. Through engaging stories and interactive resources for students and educators, it highlights the possibilities of future-ready careers in fields like robotics, AI, and 3D printing. It’s where the next generation can discover how to shape the industries of tomorrow. The Mirai Project Powered by Canadore College The Mirai Project, powered by Canadore College, is an annual competition that integrates emerging technologies with the field of healthcare. This competition allows students to use their own creativity, ingenuity, and skills to address real-world issues in healthcare through the InspireTech platform. Students also get the opportunity to learn a variety of practical, hands-on skills from industry professionals. MoonShot Space and Rocketry The InspireTech MoonShot program aims to provide students with access, knowledge, and training for careers in space and rocketry. Through multiple in-person events, the students have the opportunity to test rovers, try out simulators, see real rockets, and network with space companies like NASA and MDA Space. LearnCert, powered by InspireTech Canada, offers SHSM-aligned micro-credentials, certifications, and experiences across disciplines like technology, healthcare, design, and more.
